East Village

I had the chance to walk around a little bit in the East Village recently.  I went up The Bowery to St. Mark's Place.  So many things to see...

I ended up going to lunch at Paul's Burgers, they make, what I think is the best burger in NYC.  Inexpensive, and so good...

 Then I highly recommend Pomme Frite, 2 or 3 doors down from Paul's.  Also inexpensive, and great fries...they have 26 sauces to choose from!  I love the Sweet Mango Chutney, and the Cheddar Cheese is a staple.  Here is a great article about the fries, and they tried all of the sauces...
